Cookie policy
A clear explanation of the cookies and similar technologies used on FLAVOTRUE — what they do, which ones are essential, and how you can control them.
Effective date: 15 August 2026
- Essential cookies
- Required for login, cart & checkout
- Analytics
- GA4 / Tag Manager when configured
- Your control
- Manage via browser settings
Why we use cookies
Depending on how you use the site, cookies and similar technologies help us:
- operate essential features such as login, checkout, and cart persistence;
- keep the website secure and help prevent fraud or abuse;
- remember preferences so you do not have to re-enter them;
- measure page performance, traffic sources, and product interest; and
- improve campaigns and understand which messages are useful to customers.
Types of cookies we use
We group cookies and similar technologies into four categories:
| Category | Purpose | Required? |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Sign-in, checkout security, cart, and core browsing | Yes |
| Preferences | Remember settings that make the site easier to use | Optional |
| Analytics | Understand traffic and improve products and pages | Optional |
| Marketing | Measure campaigns and show more relevant promotions | Optional |
Examples used on FLAVOTRUE
The exact cookies set can change as we improve the site. Typical examples include:
- Authentication / session: tokens or session identifiers that keep you signed in and protect account actions.
- Cart & checkout: local or session storage used to remember products in your cart while you browse.
- Security: short-lived values that help detect unusual traffic and protect forms.
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 and/or Google Tag Manager tags that help us understand page views, traffic sources, and conversion events (for example, add to cart or purchase).
- Marketing / measurement: campaign tags or pixels that may be loaded through Tag Manager when advertising tools are enabled.
Analytics and marketing tags are loaded only when the relevant measurement IDs are configured for the environment. First-party essential storage is required for the shop to work normally.
Third-party services
Some cookies are set by trusted partners that help us run payments, logistics messaging, hosting, analytics, or advertising. Those partners process information under their own privacy notices. Common examples include Google Analytics / Tag Manager and payment or logistics providers used at checkout or order updates.
We do not sell your personal information. Sharing for analytics or advertising measurement, where used, is limited to operating and improving our services. For a broader explanation of personal data handling, see our Privacy Policy.
How to manage cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, and some offer private or incognito modes that limit storage.
If you block essential cookies, parts of the site — including sign-in, cart, and checkout — may not work correctly. You can also use Google's Analytics opt-out tools where available.
How long cookies last
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them. Analytics and advertising cookies typically last from a few days up to about 24 months, depending on the provider's settings.
Local storage used for cart or preference data remains until cleared by you or by the application when it is no longer needed.
Updates to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add new tools, change providers, or adjust how the site works. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the website after changes means you accept the updated policy.
